Embody Change

Sometimes we clearly know we need a change, but what the change needs to be or the steps to get there can feel cloudy. Moments of change and transition can be difficult. Coaching offers a path to clarity in a welcoming, connected space.WHY WILD ANSER?Anser is the genus that includes geese - an homage to the Mary Oliver poem and the idea that the world is offering itself to our imagination - we have only to cultivate the capacity to tune in and listen. What might unlock if you had the support to get started?

Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting-
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.

-Mary Oliver

Hi, I'm Nicole.

I have a passion for helping others grow. I started my career as a teacher, teaching math to elementary and middle school students before moving into EdTech. I lived the startup life for over five years, holding a variety of roles across content creation, sales, and management. I came to coaching after feeling stuck about what I wanted next in my career -- I worked with a coach who helped me uncover that the thing that lit me up across all of the jobs I had held was helping others grow. I am fascinated by the liminal - how the moments in between Point A and Point B are often the moments where we learn and grow the most. My coaching style seeks to seize those moments to support clients in cultivating their growth.I have a B.S. in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University and a Masters in Education from Arizona State University. I am a certified Integral Coach through New Ventures West.

How does coaching work?

If we decide to work together, I will support you in listening to your inner wisdom about what actions to take. I will not give you advice or tell you what to do -- instead, we will practice listening to what your mind, body, and heart are all saying so you can take wise action. Our first step to that end will be to meet for a free chemistry call. In this call, you'll share a little bit about what you're working on, and, most importantly, get a sense of whether we gel. If you decide to move forward, we will then meet over Zoom every other week for 60 minutes. I am also available between sessions on an as-needed basis. My starting package is a 6-month engagement. I believe this is both an approachable commitment as well as enough time for you to notice meaningful change and results. You are welcome to renew after the 6 months finishes.

Investment

I believe support should be accessible to all and have crafted a fee structure that allows everyone to invest in their growth at a level that is authentic to them. Scholarships are available on an individual basis.

  • Individual support: sliding scale range of $150-$350 per month

  • Team support: custom pricing

Community Connections for Middle ManagersIn the last year, I’ve been thinking a lot about my experiences as a middle manager and I’ve talked to a lot of folks who are in middle management positions or have friends who are. Middle managers are incredibly important – they are key drivers of both company success and employee experience. At the same time, while simultaneously managing both up and down, they may feel pressed from all sides, and this can sometimes feel quite lonely – I remember feeling this myself. In order to bring people together to mitigate that loneliness, I am hosting a Community Connection for Middle Managers on April 17, 2025, at 2 PM PST/4 PM CST/5 PM EST. This free one-hour event offers “speed connecting:” four rounds, ten minutes each, with a different partner and question for each round. It presents an opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and connect with other middle managers as humans. The goal is that you walk away feeling more connected and energized. This is event is for you if you are someone who manages others, but do not have high-level decision-making power to set organizational strategy (though you likely influence it!). I intend this event to be broad - so it is as much for folks who work in traditional business settings as it is for folks who work in settings such as government or schools.
